His entire life, Gordy has said to himself one thing - “All I want to be is a syndicated comic strip cartoonist.” Now in his late thirties, he struggles to move beyond a dream not yet realized. With his two best friends, Mark and Paige, by his side, Gordy tries to make some sense of his place in the world. As the saying goes, “sometimes you have to get lost before you find yourself.” Wackiness ensues.

is in his late thirties. By day he works for himself as a graphic designer. At night, he toils away at a yet unattained cartooning career. He lives and works out of a small apartment, surrounded by comic books, art books, cds, dvds, and anything else that feeds his pop culture sensibilities, including the life-sized wookiee.

is Gordy’s best and oldest childhood friend. When he’s not playing the role of Gordy’s wingman, talking him off of a ledge, or brushing the wookiee, Mark lives the quiet life of a married man with a couple of kids in suburban Long Island.

is Gordy’s fellow single city-dweller and “partner in crime.” Her relationship with Gordy is strictly a platonic one. Longing to be in a relationship with a man that isn’t a complete idiot, she spends her free time playing audience to the sitcom that is all things Gordy. She’s allowed to look at the wookiee, but not touch it.
